Enjoy the Freedom of Being an Independent Contractor
Area Representatives (ARs) are independent contractors paid for securing student placements and for supervising students throughout their stay. It is not mandatory for an AR to both place and supervise, however it is strongly encouraged. The rewards of this role are not just emotional and cultural but also financial. As an independent contractor, you can earn between $1,700 and $20,000 or more annually, depending on your dedication and the number of placements you facilitate.
Payment Structure
ARs are compensated for each student they successfully place. ARs also have the opportunity to earn additional payments for supervising students. Placement fees are paid as soon as the student is linked with a vetted Host Family and all the placement paperwork is submitted and approved. Supervision fees are paid on bi-monthly basis, upon a monthly HQ-approved progress report. Depending on the length of the student’s program, ARs have the opportunity to collect between 3-6 supervision fees
