what does an ise regional manager do?
 The role of regional manager is fully remote, flexible, and offers compensation up to $40,000, depending on experience and team goals. Preferred candidates are from Northeastern states, though other regions are also considered.
Organizational Background: ISE, a 501c3 non-profit, has facilitated exchange programs for over 30,000 students since its inception in 1982. The organization sponsors J-1 secondary school exchanges for international students and provides cultural exchange opportunities for American high school students abroad.
Role and Responsibilities: The regional manager will lead a team of 20-40 Area Representatives to place at least 50 exchange students each year, ensuring compliance with Department of State regulations. Key responsibilities include team supervision and development, problem-solving and support, and regional communication to promote host family recruitment efforts.
Qualifications: Candidates should have a minimum of two years’ experience in the student exchange industry. Skills in team motivation, placement management, and cultural exchange, along with social media and marketing proficiency, are essential.

What will my Regional territory be?
As you move through the contracting phase of hiring, your ISE Placement Manager will play a key role in defining your territory and setting team goals. It's crucial to have open discussions during this phase to ensure clarity and alignment. These goals will be formalized in your ISE Agreement Letter, setting the foundation for a successful collaboration.
what are the qualifications to be a regional manager?
 To fill the role of regional manager, you must be a minimum of 25 years old, and bring over 2 years of experience as a coordinator, representative, or manager in this field
will i work alone?
As an independent contractor, you'll be offered ISE's phenomenal support with 24/7 access to the national office staff. You'll likely be in constant contact with your Placement Manager, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Plus, you'll have access to ISE's incredible database of students, materials, and training 
how am i compensated?
regional managers are brought on board as independent contractors (1099). During the hiring process, the placement manager for ISE will establish clear compensation terms and help set performance goals.  Each new hire signs an Agreement that outlines expectations and deadlines, ensuring everyone is aligned and empowered to succeed from day one. 
can i place students too?
Regional Managers are allowed to place a certain % of their team's annual goal.  Terms will be outlined in their Agreement Letter
